Introduction  -   what/ when / where / unit of measurement.

The data is shown as a bar chart, which compares the relative populations (measured in millions of people) for four South American countries comprising Argentina, Equador, Chile, and Guyana in 2000, and projected data for 2025 and 2050.

Overview  -  the general trend (try describing what happens generally from  2000 to 2050.

Overall, it can clearly be seen that Argentina had the highest population in 2000, and is expected to be the most densely populated country by 2025 and 2050. Notably, the second and third highest populated countries are expected to be Chile and Equador, whereas Guyana is predicted to have the lowest number of inhabitants throughout the period.

Paragraph 1 - key details from the data / make sure describe in words and provide data.In more detail, in 2000, Argentina’s population had risen to just under forty million (37.1M) people, and is predicted to grow sharply by 2050 to just over fifty-five million citizens (55.4M). Interestingly, the population of Argentina is higher in 2000 and 2050 than all the other three countries combined populations.

Paragraph 2   -   key details from the data / make sure describe in words and provide data.

Another significant feature is the population growth expectations of Chile and Equador. While Equador is expected to experience almost a doubling of its population from just over 12 million in 2000 to almost 24 million in 2050, over the same period, Chile is predicted to see negative growth from 2025 to 2050 with its population declining from 24.7 million to just over 21 million.           8.5 Band to Band 9.
