Introduction (State you are provided with images and a sequence of steps in X process)
The information is provided as a sequence of images, which show the series of steps in the industrial process of making bricks.
Overview (Summarise the steps in the process using continuous verbs)
Overall, the process of brick manufacture involves digging up, sieving, mixing, and moulding clay into brick shapes, and then heating, cooling and packaging them before they can be used for building projects.
Paragraph 1 (Describe the first 50% of the steps in the process)
In more detail, to manufacture bricks, the first step is when clay is extracted from the ground by an industrial digging machine. Next, the clay is then sieved and stones are removed by a roller machine, which is fitted with a metal grid. Subsequently, sand and water are added to the clay and the resultant mixture is poured into a brick-shaped moulding machine. Once the clay has been moulded into brick shapes, they are separated by being cut with an industrial cutting machine
Paragraph 2 (Describe the second 50% of steps in the process)
After the bricks have been formed, they are then heated and dried in an industrial oven at a very high temperature, so it takes up to 72 hours for them to cool off. In the penultimate stage in the process, the newly produced bricks are packaged and stored before they are delivered to building companies in readiness for being used in building projects. 18 mins / Band 9
