Introduction - identify what, where, when the data is about & the unit of measurement)
The data is provided in the form of a table, which compares weather statistics in the Portuguese and Irish capital cities of Lisbon and Dublin. The data is compared in mili-meters of rain, the number of days when it rained, and temperature ranges in celcius over the 12 months of 2015.
Overview - a general statement identifying GENERAL TRENDS.
Overall, it can clearly be seen that while Lisbon generally enjoyed less rainfall and milder minimum temperatures throughout the year, Dublin was much colder and experienced much higher levels of precipitation for almost the entire year.
Body 1 - Contrast of 3 or 4 main features
In more detail, although Dublin had more mili-meters of rain annually (236 mms), Lisbon had more rain during the months of October to March (142mms compared to 119mms for Dublin). Similarly, Dublin saw more rainy days than Lisbon at 62 days annually compared to almost half the number for Lisbon at just 32 days for the whole year.
Body 2 - Contrast 3 or 4 more main features
Likewise, despite the fact that Lisbon was wetter for the months October to March, it was also much warmer with temperatures between 14 and 18 celcius compared to just 11 to 10 degrees celcius for Dublin. Finally, by far the hottest month for either city was for Lisbon, which was 31 degrees celcius (July to September), whereas the coldest weather was in Dublin in January to March at only 3 degrees celcius.
